Yong (region Tash-Murkon)

Yong is a 0.3 system in region Tash-Murkon, just one jump from high sec. My freighter is too far away otherwise I would stage lots of fuel and haul it in. I need to fill my freighter and park it in a more central location.

Yong borders region Doman, and it is along a short pipe between the two regions. Some thru traffic. A noob was scanning while I was there.

Hakisalki (region Metropolis)

Hakisalki is a 0.2 system in region Metropolis. 3 jumps from high sec. Hakisalki is part of a 6 system dead-end. A very busy dead-end. I even got some traffic in my wormhole from here; a Loki tried to jump one of my PI alts at a customs office. They should name this area Six Pack. (It seems I like to name dead-end collections of systems.)

I did not scan.

Arzad (region Devoid)

Arzad is a 0.2 system in region Devoid. It is 3 jumps from high sec, in two different directions. Arzad is part of factional warfare and this area is active. Arzad is an Amarr system but is occupied by Minmater. This system is also along a pipe that leads to system Rens (a market center), so pirate activity, too.

I lost a Hulk in my wormhole today. First Hulk loss since I moved in a year and a half ago. I went too long without re-scanning and a wormhole opened to another unknown system, of which I was unaware. Stealth bomber got me. That, plus lots of gang activity in low sec, makes me want to take it easy. There is a high sec pocket a few jumps away. I like to check out high sec pockets. Whenever I move out of my wormhole I might setup in a high sec pocket.

In the very first high sec system I found a Sansha's Nation Occupied Mining Colony, DED 4/10. I worked it in a Pilgrim, which was a bit of a challenge. Loot: Centum C-Type Medium Remtote Armor Repair, Centum C-Type Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane, Centum C-Type Energized Kinetic Membrane, True Sansah Armor Thermic Hardner, and 8th Tier Overseer's Effects

Aset (region Metropolis)


Ruined Minmater Outpost


Aset is a 0.4 system in region Metropolis. Is it two jumps from high sec. Aset is the center of a spoke, surrounded by seven systems. They should name this area Wagon Wheel. Several years ago I based out of system Turner, 1 jump away. Aset is part of factional warfare, and has a beacon for a Ruined Minmatar Outpost.

The area was fairly busy with prirates and some PvP, and there were several pilots scanning when I first entered. I came back several hours later and scanned the area. I found 1 mag, 2 radar, and 1 plex. I worked the mag and radar. Standard loot; nothing of note.

Soliara (region Aridia)


Asteroid Belt 1 at Planet III
Soliara is a 0.2 sytems in region Aridia. It is part of a dead-end collection of 8 systems. I have had an exit in this area before, system Tukanas, one jump away, over two months ago (posted on Jan 3, 2012). Soliara 8 jumps from high sec. There is a beacon for an Abandoned Research Project.

Previously I scanned the area and found little, commenting on how it seemed to be regularly scanned. A quick looksie leads me to the same conclusion. Guess I will bleed out wormhole activities today, and hope for a good low sec area tomorrow.

Muetralle (region Verge Vendor)

Muetralle is a 0.2 system in region Verge Vendor. It is two jumps from high sec. It is along a short dog-leg pipe. The system has no stations, 2 planets, and 2 jump gates. It is part of factional warfare, Gallente.

I found a Serpentis Logistical Outpost. Looks to be a tough site to solo, and time consuming ... Took me 1 hour and 20 minutes to pop the three rooms in a Drake and Harbinger. 13 million in bounty. It gave me an escalation but it was 8 jumps away in null sec. No thanks. Several pirates moving through the system but no one dropped any probes

Egbinger (region Molden Heath)


Minmatar Shipyards. Off the right, barely in sight is the Tempest for Aton Hordner, a celestial agent.
Egbinger is a 0.1 system in region Molden Heath. The system is an entry point to null sec region Great Wildlands, between two landmarks: Point of No Return and Divinity's Edge. I guess those names are because of the distance between empire and null sec in this area, most of it comprised of long jumps.

I haven't logged on much recently. And I am not staying on long today. Just checking on my research jobs and reacting some gas.
